Media call robbie farah: 'Fiona, you're doing something right'

The BBC's social media chief, @RobbieFarah, tweeted about her husband Fiona taking part in a talk show with presenter Michael Heseltine earlier this year.

Heseltine was at the festival, which drew 1.6 million people in Glasgow, to promote his new book, 바카라 I Want to Be Famous.

"We were in St Andrew's Square and she was performing one of her solo shows at the event, I've never seen a female person do that. It was brilliant," he said afterwards.

"I saw her walking towards the lectern and I just said, 'Fiona, what are you doing?'"

Mr Farah said that as she was doing the act, she was "just having a look at me. It was almost like she was trying to get that message across".

He added: "I wanted to give her a big hug but she was just having a look and, like, it was sort of weird for all of us.

"She was just getting to know a lot of people, and she did go away and maybe we'll just see how that goes."

Asked about the incident at the end of the night, Mr Farah said: "I think when we are done with each other, we'll say we've been there before, and the truth is we've been there many times before.

"So, I don't think that's anything I should do or say, that's for sure."

Earlier this year, Fiona was one of six celebrity guests on Radio 4's Question Time, in which she spoke about the challenges of being an artist.

She told presenter Norman Smith that she wanted the public to "learn to be proud of being artists", as well as why she wanted to leave her own legacy with her work.

She told him: "I think the most important thing for us to get across is that we're an artist, we're not just artists, we're people too, we've had the most amazing lives, we're in our very own company - it's great to be that."
