Er half vielmehr dem Mann, von der Barmherzigkeit Allahs Gebrauch zu machen. Nach diesem Hadith ist es dem Machthaber nicht erlaubt, nach den Sünden der Menschen zu suchen. Ist eine Straftat öffentlich bekannt und der Täter geständig, so hat weder der Herrscher noch der Richter die Macht, von der Strafe abzusehen denn es handelt sich um das Recht Allahs.
